Today we proudly launch the TRT Peter Spillett Award. TRT is seeking to give special recognition to a deserving individual whose work has delivered a positive impact for rivers with the Thames River Basin over the last year.

The new annual award is in memory of Peter Spillett, a TRT Trustee for more than 10 years who sadly passed away last year. ‘Peter cared passionately about improving the Thames rivers and the wildlife that they sustain. As a Trustee he gave his time and expertise generously to try to ensure that decisions made by organisations working in the Thames Valley and London improved the biodiversity of the river and its tributaries.’, said TRT Chairman Dave Wardle.
